Notre-Dame-de-L\u2019I\u0302le-Perrot, June 12, 2023 \u2013 The Sanivac Group, the leading Quebec company in hydro excavation, sewer cleaning, and mobile sanitary equipment rental, today announces the acquisition of Excavac, a specialized hydro excavation company based in Saint-Hyacinthe and Quebec City. This union, effective June 10, brings together the two major players in hydro excavation in Quebec to provide the construction industry with the best in terms of inventory, service, and quality.<\/p>\n

Uniting forces<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Patrick De Sylva and Steve Savoie, co-founders of Excavac, along with their exceptional team, will continue to provide the same exceptional service that they are passionate about. In addition, Excavac’s customers will benefit from the advantages and other services offered by the Sanivac Group.<\/p>\n

“This transaction will allow us to continue the growth of Excavac and take on new challenges in the short term in a field that we are passionate about. Sanivac Group is a Quebec flagship, and we are proud to join the Kelly family. It is essential for us to preserve our businesses here and contribute to the development of Quebec!” says Patrick De Sylva, Director of Operations at Excavac.<\/p>\n

“Our union will create a formidable fleet of around fifty hydrovac trucks, offering the largest fleet in Quebec. These two new business locations in Saint-Hyacinthe and Quebec City bring about a geographical expansion that aligns with the growth strategy of the Group. In 2023, the Sanivac Group will enter the National Capital Region and by 2024, it plans to offer all of its other services there, such as the rental and services of portable toilets and sanitary trailers, septic tank and grease trap pumping, sewer and urban infrastructure cleaning, steam de-icing, pumping of various kinds, and more.<\/p>\n
