On October 24, 2025, Sanivac announces the acquisition of a new industrial property in Laval, which will officially become its 9th branch in Quebec. With this expansion, the family business now has nine operational branches, in addition to its future head office currently under construction in Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, for a total of ten strategic locations across the province.
Founded in 1961, Sanivac specializes in urban infrastructure maintenance and sanitation services, including portable toilet and sanitary trailer rental, sewer cleaning, septic tank and grease trap emptying, hydro-excavation, specialized pumping, and container rental for construction and renovation. This new establishment is part of a sustained growth plan aimed at better serving municipalities, businesses, and individuals.
A Strategic Establishment in the Heart of Laval
Located in a key sector of Laval, this new branch will allow Sanivac to strengthen its presence in Greater Montreal and more effectively support the growth of its various departments.
Through this acquisition, Sanivac aims to, among other things:
- Create a new labor pool in a rapidly growing economic region;
- Bring its teams closer to clients by reducing travel times and improving responsiveness on job sites;
- Free up space at the current sites in Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot and Saint-Jérôme to further develop its operations there.
“Laval holds a strategic position for us. By establishing a new branch there, we are getting closer to our customers while optimizing our logistics. This allows us to gain speed, efficiency, and flexibility, while maintaining the level of quality that has built our reputation for over 60 years,” emphasizes Vincent Kelly, President and CEO of Sanivac Group.

A Significant Driver for the Growth of the Container Department
This expansion is also closely linked to the rapid development of the container rental division, which is playing an increasingly important role within the Sanivac Group. The Laval branch will become an essential anchor point to meet the high demand for:
- construction containers for residential, commercial, and industrial job sites;
- watertight containers for more complex materials to manage;
- management and transport solutions for construction waste materials.
“The construction and renovation market is very active in Greater Montreal, and Laval is at the heart of this dynamic. This new branch offers us better storage and deployment capacity for our containers, which translates into shorter delivery times and greater availability for our customers,” explains Jean-Philippe Blain, Director of the Container Department at Sanivac.
Serving Customers Better, Across Quebec
Beyond the growth of its fleet and inventory, Sanivac’s objective remains the same: to offer simple, fast, and reliable service, based on a strong local presence. Thanks to this new branch, the company will be able to:
- better support construction and infrastructure projects in Laval and surrounding regions;
- reduce the distances traveled by its trucks, thus contributing to improved operational efficiency;
- respond to a growing volume of projects, without compromising execution quality or deadlines.
A Strategic Real Estate Collaboration
The realization of this acquisition was made possible through the collaboration of specialized partners. Sanivac wishes to highlight the key role played by the Étienne & Steve team – Commercial Real Estate Brokers at Colliers, who supported the Group throughout the process.
“Surrounding ourselves with strong partners is part of how we do things. The Colliers team clearly understood our needs and ambitions. This transaction allows us to project even further into our development plan,” adds David Kelly, Director of Assets and Co-owner of Sanivac Group.

A Long-Term Vision for Sanivac Group
The acquisition of this 9th branch in Laval is part of Sanivac Group’s long-term vision: to structure a network of strongly locally anchored service points, capable of quickly responding to needs in sanitation services, waste management, and urban infrastructure maintenance, across Quebec.
With a fleet of hundreds of specialized trucks and thousands of sanitary units and containers, Sanivac continues to invest in its facilities, equipment, and teams to support its growth.
