About Sanivac
A big family since 1961
Family values, since 1961
A family business, from generation to generation
At Sanivac, the concept of family is at the heart of everything. Founded in 1961 by John Kelly with just one septic tank to maintain, the company was born from a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a simple desire: to provide reliable, human, and essential service to its community.
Over the decades, Sanivac has grown in the hands of the Kelly family, now led by the third generation. Each generation has helped evolve the company in its own way — by adding new services, innovating in the design of our trucks, and expanding into new regions — all while preserving the DNA that defines us: inventory, service, quality, honesty, respect, and pride in a job well done.
This passing of the torch isn’t limited to leadership—it’s also felt throughout our teams. Over the years, many employees have seen their children, siblings, or spouses join Sanivac, creating a vibrant, deeply rooted, and loyal company culture.
Being a family-owned business isn’t just about a name — it’s a way of managing, building, and serving. And at Sanivac, this way of doing things continues to guide our future—with passion and humility.

A united team
Over 421 employees, united by the same passion
Behind every Sanivac service is a close-knit team, proud of what they accomplish. More than 435 employees share the same mission every day: to get the job done right—with precision, respect, and efficiency. Whether on the road, in our garages, in the workshop, in customer service, or in management, each person plays a vital role in our collective success.
So, what’s the secret to our success ? “Committed to the success of each of our employees, we are always present and available for them. And we know the feeling is mutual. Our team of over 425 employees across our 8 branches (Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot, Cowansville, Sherbrooke, Saint-Jérôme, Gatineau, Ottawa, Quebec City, and Les Cèdres) is, in a way, an extension of the Kelly family. This is how we’ve built an optimal work environment where everyone gives their best to deliver exceptional service.” – Vincent Kelly, CEO of Groupe Kelly.
What unites us? A shared passion for a job well done, a strong sense of belonging, and a genuine pride in representing a local company. At Sanivac, we move forward together, and we’re not afraid to get our hands dirty to deliver a service our clients can count on — no compromises.
An efficient Sanivac fleet
Over 365 vehicles and trucks
At Sanivac, one of our greatest strengths lies in the capacity and efficiency of our fleet. With over 365 registered vehicles on the roads of Quebec and Ontario every day, it’s essential for us to rely on top-tier trucks and equipment—high-performing, reliable, and cutting-edge.
To meet this requirement, we have designed the majority of our trucks as custom builds, directly in our own garages, in collaboration with our mechanical team. “To ensure this level of efficiency and have all the equipment needed for our operations, we have designed most of our trucks according to the needs of both our team and our clients. Every detail is carefully considered—our trucks are designed and built right here in our garages by our mechanical team,” says David Kelly, Co-owner and Director of Assets at Groupe Kelly.
This autonomy allows us to adapt our vehicles to real-world conditions, respond quickly to changing needs, and deliver consistent, professional service—no matter the challenge.
A qualified team

Our rental service is flexible, available for both short- and long-term needs, and tailored to your budget. Each unit is thoroughly inspected, cleaned, and maintained on a scheduled basis, following strict protocols.
